HPE StoreVirtual OS 12.8 Announcement

Dear HPE StoreVirtual Customer,

HPE Storage is pleased to announce the availability of StoreVirtual OS 12.8 (formerly called SAN/iQ and LeftHand OS). StoreVirtual OS 12.8 is a new software release that upgrades the StoreVirtual OS from CentOS 6.5 to CentOS 7.6 for HPE StoreVirtual Storage products. It is available on the following platforms:

*     HPE StoreVirtual VSA Software

*     HPE StoreVirtual 4000 Storage

Note: For details on StoreVirtual OS 12.8 support on HPE Hyper Converged 380, HPE Hyper Converged 250 for VMware vSphere and HPE Hyper Converged 250 for Microsoft Cloud Platform System refer to the HPE Hyper Converged System software updates

To upgrade to LeftHand OS 12.8, use the Online Upgrade capability available via the Centralized Management Console. Prior to upgrading, please review the list of supported initiators and operating systems in the HPE StoreVirtual Compatibility Matrix which is available via HPE SPOCK  or
